by betting stronger on the flop when you in front would have seen you take the pot - (in theory :) ).

Happens all the time (to me at least) - not having the balls to put the *****in. lives and learns.

keep on. good luck.

I think you originally posted on here in order that people would tell you how wonderful a player you were, and you only reason you lost was that you were unlucky. its my belief that you soul purpose of putting this topic up was for people to massage your ego.

After all your last post didn't sound as though you lacked confidence actually you sounded quite arrogant.

just wanted to know if i played hand correct
someone said in the club i played it wrong
only thing i did wrong was checking the flop or
didnt check/raise enough
lesson learnt

You made a mistake due to not planning at all.

1. flop - you bet, what if he raises - you gotta fold
2. you bet half on the flop and then go all-in on the turn (which did not help you at all) - basically if he calls you are probably beaten, so that move has no value unless he made a mistake calling the flop (which, admittedly, he did)

I would go all-in on the flop or just check it and see what happens, never would do it like you did.

So yes, badly played, he played badly too except he was luckier. Such is life.

Why have you asked the same question both on the poker forum and on the general forum.

don't go all in with a pair against a set.

What did you pt him on when he called your 1600 raise after the flop?

Honestly
