pretty well, but had too much going on, be glad to get back to a structured lifestyle again.
This drinking is best left to the professionals down the boozer!!

Well day 2 is almost over, just home from work, usually pop in pub for a pint on way home but gave it a miss tonight.
£10er still in sky rocket.

Tucked up at home watching footie, just scalped the draw for a £score.

No booze in house so day 2 almost completed.

Wonder which day I crack?

my personal opinion on the spread is day 13-16

Do you know that people who drink moderately live longer than teetotallers?

No, thats the day I become debt free (apart from the normal stuff like leccy, gas, insurance etc) and I will probably want to celebrate, if I get through those 3 days I will make it to the end of the month.

Day 3 will come and go without a drink.

Walked to and from work today 7 miles in total.
No pint in the local as usual.

Slowly, slowly catchy monkey.

Back to the real world tomorrow, gonna have to go pro soon.
But if I do that, I definitely won´t take a drink, last time I mixed the 2 I blew my bank!!
Never again, you are only as good as your next trade, not the last one!!!

Take care

No booze = a better life imo.
You pay for every bit of pleasure it gives you.

If you feel yourself cracking, try catnip extract from the pet food store.
It makes you laugh, and has no known toxicity.

Thanks Moonlight, I will bear it in mind.

Day 4, no problem, worked late.
Sometimes I stop off for a couple of pints, not tonight though.

Because I was at home last night instead of in the boozer I prepared tonight's food and rated a couple of Wednesdays races.
Chicken curry with rice from yesterdays leftovers.
Yummy yummy!!

Have not spent a brass farthing since I went dry and being a non smoker have not had to draw any money from the bank for 3 days, funny feeling.

If I make it to the end of the month I reckon I will have spent £200+ less than normal.

Looks like I may treat myself a weekend at the races on the money!!

Take care

Then tell him to keep his (honest) diary on here, may be able to help each through till the end of the month and possibly beyond.

Gl Glengarry

am doing 10 weeks myself - go from 3rd Jan through to Chelts each year - after first couple of weeks its quite easy really - sleep better, feel better, and lose weight despite eating more snacks and stuff

when on beer I usually down about 50-60 units a week and really enjoy it but doing a few weeks at start of year saves cash etc and nights out in Jan and Feb arent usually that great anyway so not really missing out on anything spectacular
