Betfair live scores

I use this to get alerts when goals get scored in football matches. Eventually though I get a message saying "you have been inactive too long and this service has been stopped, click to reactivate".

This is just incredibly annoying. Not least because I have to go through all the rigmarole of customising it again etc.

Does anyone know how to prevent the service from stopping? What do I have to do in order to remain "active". Why on earth should I have to do anything anyway!?

Is there any alternative websites which give an audible alert when the score changes and which is customisable and which doesn't suffer from this bug of timing out?
