i want to build a bankroll from say under 50 quid so when its up enough i can bet 5% of it each time i bet! at the minute im trying 2 bet my balance after each winning bet to get to a large bankroll obviousky its hard 2 do and when i lose im back 2 square one ! i know its best 2 bet a % of my pot but starting from a small amount like that would take forever to get to a large amount any tips on how to build up from virtually nothing ?

You've got two options, work hard with your £50, or save up and wait a few months until you can deposit a bigger starting pot.

If you can make £50 into a big amount, do it again.

Started with £50 in 2002 and built it up v quickly, cant emphasise enough how much harder it would be to start now though. GL :(

how rat was it % of pot betting or all in for a few bets to build up quicker
Report RonaldinhoRAT December 21, 2009 7:52 PM GMT
You cant do all in bets especially if £50 means something to you, to be honest i opened my account with £50 then had my eureka moment so topped it up to £500 (shedload of money for me in those days) i dont get bogged down with % of bank always been happy betting amounts im comfy with.

Sorry im just rambling er all in NO slow and steady YES

"i dont get bogged down with % of bank always been happy betting amounts im comfy with."

Correct. This is shrewd information.

There's no point lumping your £50 on something. There is too high a probability that it will go wrong. You want to get to a big bank, fine. Look at what you've got and put a strategy together. For £50 bet in £2 units. If you know what you are doing you'll soon be at £100 and so on.....

You must remain patient. There really are no short cuts unless you lump on and are lucky on the day, but that isn't the sensible way forward.

Turning your 50 into 200 slowly won't just help you get the roll together, it will give you the confidence that you know what you're doing when you start betting bigger and bigger.

You'll learn a lot cheaply if you lose, you'll learn nothing just lumping on randomly.

The first Q is:
Why do I think I will win money on here?
If you have a systematic winning method (I didn't say a system), then exponential growth will take place, but if you plan to do 5% of bank long-term, do it now and be patient.
If you can't be patient, sell something and put more money in.
Pull pints in the evening, how long till you have £200?
