Hi, If i had a probability of a football match as
Home win 37%
Draw 25%
Away win 38%
How would i got about reflecting this as prices, is there a forumla I can use to work this out?

Home win 100-37=63 63 divided by 37=1.7/1 (roughly 7/4)
Draw 100-25=75 75 divided by 25 =3/1 Away 100-38=62 62 divided 38=1.63 (roughly 13/8) Bit long winded that,probably an easier equation somewhere ! |

Divide your percentages by 100, ie 40%=0.4, then it's just 1/probability = decimal price. Eg, probability = 40%, price =1/0.4 which is 2.5.

Thanks In decimal odds it's simplest to work out: It's 1 / by the % expressed as a probability so: 1/0.37=2.7 1/0.25=4 1/0.38=2.63 |
