I think I worked it out very roughly, but the result seems impossibly high. Maths is not my strong suit. Any experts on this sort of thing who could give a 'ballpark' figure? I know it's not exact science.

Average number of bets per day - 2

Average profit on each bet (after commission) - 10p in the £

Average win to lose ratio - 1 winner to 4 losers

Average stake per bet - 5% of bank

Don't think you mean 1 winner to 4 losers as you would lose your bank pretty quickly at a 10% return on a winning bet?

No, the 10% return is an average for all bets.

I make it just under £38K. £37936.65

Well, my (very rough) estimate was ten times that!

It wouldn't be more than £38K. Probably quite a lot less as I didn't subtract for losing bets. Just compounded 10% return on each bet, two bets a day for a year. From £1000 after six months is £6143.93, six months after that £38K.

Agree with Tongy. Works out at about 1% profit per day
