How Will Betfair Identify "Linked" Accounts for the PC?

They had no trouble linking my a/c for the Transaction charge.
And I haven't even done the KFC thing.

Moon Light, was it name/house number type... or IP address?

They have linked ac's for pc despite lots of precautions being taken... and it can take months for them to catch up with you. Not worth it, imv

They didn't say how they did it, they just took the money; I had to ask for a statement and saw all my a/c's on there.

you could refer a friend, BF could arbitrarily decide the accounts are linked and heyb presto, you're both getting shafted for each others' wins.

Technology gone past IP addresses.

"IP address" = IP address, MAC address, cookies, etc etc

Theyve got a dedicated team looking for dodgers... 1.01 theyre tracking IPs

High stakes gamblers can change their name via deed poll, change address on voting register and open a different bank account, and change IP or even ISP if they wish.

what if your in a friends house. he has betfair and you log onto your own account from his house!

done this a few times while watching football

Would take more than IP address. EG, all people using trading centres, some 3g networks or on large lan's will all appear to be on same IP address to betfair.
