Totally incomprehensible to me why someone that loaded would want to gamble in the first place. The whole point of gambling is to get rich. He was already stinking rich, ffs!

He obviously doesn't take a very rational approach to his betting:
"One reason Mr. Watanabe was seen as so valuable to Harrah's, say Messrs. Deleon and Kunder, two of his handlers, is that he gravitated toward games with low odds, including roulette and slots. "He was considered a 'house' player because slots and roulette are house games -- they have terrible odds for the player," says Mr. Kunder. "And the way he played blackjack, he made it a house game. multiple user names on here i'd imagine, he's done 2400 all in challenges that have failed but thinks he's done ok because he only uses £100 each time |
