The CSF is worked out regardless of the number of winners. It doesn't matter if one punter with a 10p stake won the CSF or a thousand punters with £100 stakes won the CSF: the return is always the same.

Quick guide is to add a point to the SP of the second and multiply the winners SP by the SP of the second.

7/2 & 5/1 = 3.5 x 6= £21

7/4 & 11/2 = 1.75 x 6.5 =£11.38 etc

I have seen a dog race where there was a dead heat for 3rd and the SF has paid more than one of the tricast dividends!

what percentage in the pound would one lose if one bet every forecast combination in a typical dog race; ie what percentage book are wee looking at here?
