Guys, I know we have had problems, today, but this has nothing to do with that.

I have been getting logged out with increasing frequency for several weeks!

Now I am lucky to hold it, for a few minutes, and it seems that every time I try to navigate,
in the site, I get logged out.

Sometimes I get a message, saying it is because of inactivity, but this happens when
I am ln the middle of constant activity!

The "Help Desk" can only venture, the files and cookies nonsense, but this does not solve the issue.

I am actually wondering if I might have a virus!

Any thoughts on this please?

I had a similar problem. Try google chrome or mozilla fire fox. Personally I find google chrome quickest.

I've been getting logged out, stuck on the same market, balance disappearing for long periods! Other than that the site is working fine

Thanks Kendo......I am running in Firefox now and so far so good!

Just can't understand why IE could be the problem to such an extent!

So you are obviously happy, buzzer!!! lol

I had this problem about a year ago and e-mailed the helpdesk. If I recall, one of my biggest problems was being unable to withdraw or deposit. Got the same response as you and got nowhere. Phoned them and the guy on the helpdesk suggested firefox and the problem was solved. Still can't use I/E for betfair.

I can't log OUT, due to the fact that the logout, deposit and transfer buttons don't fit onto the screen :(

cdog, not sure if you are joking!

If you are LOL.....

If no,t you need to change your resolution, or grab the task bar and drag it to the left!!!

Sorry; to be more precise, click restore down and then, grab the right hand margin,
and pull it to the right.

IE is a steaming pile.

So having struggled, with worsening performance, for several weeks, I can now confirm
that IE is the problem!

Have tried with Firefox and, good as gold, except I don't like the extra information bars,
which shrink the screen!

So Google Chrome it is for me!

Still would like to know why IE has deteriorated, so rapidly, when used for BF!

Just missing my "tab browsing" at the mo!

it's dead eay to configure FireFox so that you have less bars at the top ... i have only one bar which has the address box + text buttons File, Edit, View, History, Tools and Help so that all of the remainder of the Browser is the actual web page.

Just go to View, and on the dropdown click / unclick the various Tollbars unti you have what you want.

Also, via View Tollbars Customise you can get smaller icons or, like me, just Text.

Dunno what your prob with IE was, but i'd guess there's an option in IE that says something like 'Delete cookies on each page refresh' and that, at sometime you had selected that option.

Thanks gus.............will look at that

Firefox has plenty of problems of its own.

Often you click "my bets" and might as well have clicked "empty box for eternity" and can only view them by logging in through IE.

I can't use Internet Explorer either. Logs me out as soon as I navigate to a market page. Firefox is fine.

Seamonkey works well for me. Think it's a Firefox clone.

Thanks gus.......

I sorted out the tool bar issue, in Firefox, but I can't find anything re "delete cookies
on each refresh" in IE.......

it's probably not that exact wording AP, but to to be honest i don't want to check since every time i so much as touch IE bad things start to happen ... i only keep it on my PC because of a superstitious belief that i'll be severely punished if i uninstall it :)
