I am hopeless at betting horses, so deciced to try and guess 100 losers.
Not quite but on paper I have laid 100 horses to be placed in the 3.5 - 4.5 mark.
Results were 95 losers (or winners) and 5 winners. Probably a p*sh strategy but going to try it for small stakes from Wed.

Do you stick in a pin or have some other method. ?

Only strategy is 10 runners or more and odds must be 3.5 4.5...
Did a run of place laying around three years ago. Had some excellent success. Like you said, a matter of sticking to the parameters you know and the type of races where the form is solid.

I guessed 10 on paper and four placed.I guess I'm not a very good guesser!
