Yes, Detroit were inside the h'cap with about 30secs to go and the qb threw an interception which was returned for a touchdown.

Ok, I have just seen someone start a 1 or more goal challenge, so I'm going to give it a go, maybe I'll beat my record of 4 :)

it's what everyone who starts out on BF does...............bet sub 1.1 or lay 20/1 shots because you are sure to win...........if the average price of your bets is 1.05 that means you should win 95.24% of the time...............so to make a profit over time, you will need a strike-rate of at least 96% to cover the inevitable loss or bullet as it's called on here.........

so you see it is simply virtually impossible to make a consistent profit taking such odds, you can dodge bullets for a long time and get away with it, but in the end it will get you..........don't worry there are some that have been here years and still attempting such challenges

look at my thread, I've been looking for 3 bets a day at around evens (started Thursday)
and even though I'm only on 60% strike-rate.......it's in profit. The idea of three bets a day is to get a 2-1 correct score on my bets each day - it's all part of the education.......I've racked my brains on here for 8 months and I'm still not making consistent profit, but I will get there......it can be done, but it's hard work............you get some good advice on here from a few, but when you start out it's hard to understand some of the comments and alot of the advice will be cryptic anyway

if I bet sub 1.66, I put it in a double or treble now to make it more of an evens bet...........betting sub 1.5 is not wise to some on here but I think there is value in every price, but betting such short odds on their own is a very hard way to make a profit................you also need to trade out (GREEN) whenever you can to lock in profits. depending on circumstances Kenilworth..............how not to trade out on my thread is Liverpool now.......a good example is NY Giants last night................protecting the bank is the main objective

if you have an evens bet and you have the opportunity to lock in 66% profit when the game looks tight and could go against you..............this is a time

Getting a 66% profit takes a bit of doing and everything depends on the price IMO. Backing at evens requires a lay of 1.20, laying at evens requiring a back at 6.0, and for me the price has to be right at the time. It shouldn't be closing at any price. GL.

I will continue this challenge bt obviously it can not go on forever, therefore does anyone know how many bets it would take to reach £100 by going all in on each bet? obviously the odds will differ slightly but an approximate figure would be great.

Nonsense, if you lock in profit by taking bad value bets its not as profitable in the long term as leaving your positions open.

word of advice

when and if you make it to £25/£30 take half or 1/3 and resume, you will know that you're on a free ride, no chance of losing your own money, that will give you a better frame of mind to continue betting

then make a plan regarding your bankroll management

1 or more goal markets are too risky to compound all the way, all leagues vary from 18% to 3% of 0-0 results so having a run over 20/30 bets its already good

keep withdrawing money or it will all be gone in one bet

look for bigger prices and use % of bank stakes

Well done for taking it on the chin. You are not the first person to tip a 1/10 loser and you won't be the last. About 5 years ago I tipped 3 odds chances who didn't score a goal between them, and for my troubles I got 330 posts. Think yourself lucky so far !!
