Ok going to try and pick some winners for you. Will be picking 1 or 2 horses per day max. Starting Bank is 1000pts. Max outlay per day is 5% of bank.

A small profit yesterday so although not a winner we are happy.
New Bank...1004 pts Todays selection is again at Southwell...Jackie Kiely 3.20 ...4pts Win 6pts Place (9.8 win 3.3 place) Quite an open looking race so small stakes today. P. Makin is back on board for the 4th time today. Finished 3/14 @Southwell 11f then 10/16 @Lingfield(Hampered in running) then 2/12 @Southwell 12f off a mark of 56. So gets on quite well with the horse. Has been dropped to 49 for todays race. Has run 33 times at southwell over various trips. 8 wins and 12 places giving it a 60% record for hitting the board. Ran at Wolves last time where it has never been in the frame in 9 runs, consequently dropped 2lb by the handicapper. Yesterday only got 2.08 for the place. |

Well hit the bar today but still a small profit. Could have got 4/1 for the place.
Both horses drifted badly but probably due to some gambles that went badly astray. Bank now 1013pts No bet Tomorrow so will be back on Saturday.... |

Todays selection is:
Dark Ranger 2.00 lingfield 2pts Win 4pts Place (11.5W..3.5P) It's had 4 runs at Lingfield and won twice. Both wins have come when held up. Today from stall 14 it surely will have to be held up again. It has been given a 3 month break after being on the go all summer, which hopefully will have freshened him up. When it won over Cand D it was off a mark of 55 and won going away by3 1/4 lengths.Today (Class 6) it runs off a mark of 60. We can forgive it its last run at lingfield (Class 5) because from stall 1 it attempted to go with the pace which i don't think suits it.Today it has the assisstance of N Callan. Have kept stakes low again due to the class of race. |
