Am I correct in thinking that there are is no legal binding between a bookmaker and its client, therefore if you owe one money then there is no 'legal' way that the bookmaker can reclaim the money??????????????

With regards to bookmakers operating within the UK, I believe that most gambling debts would be enforceable under the Gambling Act 2005.

As I understand it , it used to be that way but as Fergus states the Gambling Act closed that loophole
