Have done a few of these types of bet when i first started my bf account, started with 1000 pound. Mucked around up and down lost it all then again another 1000 pound was about 1800 down. thought i would give a 1 to 50 bets ago started with £30 when right up to just over 8000 pounds, bank 2000. Placed the rest on man u v sunderland....lost the lot.
My banks are now back to about nearly empty again. So thought less give it ago again. I will use any odds, am more about trying to find 50 winners in a row. Also last time did trade where position was in my favour. Which was the mistake i made on the man u game. Also lesson learnt.

Have done 4 lay bets on the us horses tonight... traded 1 small profit, full account on 2 and only part account on other as it was not all matched.

Excellent thread Bobby and well done so far. I love these type of bets/challenges and am usually doing something along these lines myself. I'm currently laying away teams up to 11.0 that i consider value, so far so good, on a run of 14 and have turned £50 into £244. One piece of advice, set a target and use a % of bank because a loser is always around the corner. The purists probably think its a poor strategy but as someone who dosent have time to sit on my PC all evening and trade/lay off they suit me. Anyway good luck, will follow with interest.

lumped 218 on under 2.5 goals in the 80th minute to win 19 before comission.

Newcastle was lucky imo and this bet could easily have gone against me.
Sheff Utd fought for their managers life in the first half, but the fight in them soaked away in the 2nd half as Newcastle's spirit improved a little after the goal.
But Newcastle will not survive in the Premiership with this squad of players. :(

wittymouse how long did that take you(the 12 bets)? I've done my account just lost total confidence, built up a bank very quickly to 1k, blown 3/4qrts of it and chased it back to a k within the night in golf then went all in on a bet that I forgot to lay off in-play and done the lot. Thinking of doing this, £20 to like 1k or something.

hi yazza started on the oct 27th, this really is just a fun bet, and have done this before. always start these bets with a couple of short price horse lays, ( builds bank much faster ) then as the bank moves up move to football where i can always red out or counter a losing bet.
In the past mix these bets with tennis and other sports but normally always end up losing, so now my next 8 bets will be mixed odds normally short or even trades, hoping to complete next 8 bets by sunday. if i can do this then bet 20 to 30 will take me 3 weeks, as there is alot more money involved, so more thinking.

I done something like that, started 70p lays on horse racing, started with £10, turned it over £1k in 18 days, then £2k then blew it in a day like usual, took so much time n effort don't have the energy with it now summer is over but might start with £20 n have a couple of lays a day, try n get it like to £2k by the end of the month

And to think I was gonna lay off when Chelsea went to 22's to try and save a tenner.
Chelsea equalised and went to 5.3 then I just thought 'sh!t or bust'
As soon as it went 1-1 I typed in 1.3 (to lay chelsea) in the odds box and £425 in the amount box.
This mean't that if chelsea did score (the draw stood at 1.28 and was moving shorter) then this would be ready and all I had to do was press 'submit'
I was shocked after the suspend banner disappeared, as the first odds were 1.10 for chelsea to win. So in a panic I pressed submit. I did nt wanna faff around altering the amount to green up equally as I could do that later. Or so I thought!
I thought I copy my page and post on the forum to clear away the 'fecking aftertimmer' shouts.
But Alan Green on radio 5 screaming equalizer! made me dither between trying to c+p and equalize my green.
In the end I pasted late :( and did nt fully green up :(

Out of interest what's the highest multiple of your original stake have you acheived?

For me this is close to the highest (22 times original stake)
I did one back in June that went from £3.54 to £83.19 but then got greedy and lumped on an obscure Tennis match...

i am going to try this method starting with the arsenal game tonight.. got 5 pounds off everyone at work so starting off with £40...

think a lay of 2-0 rubin may be a good bet later, cant see barca failing to score specially after losing at home to them

I thought exactly that as I was watching the Liverpool match last night.
Liverpool were playing confidently, and for once, I was pretty sure my lay of Lyon would come in.
However, at the end of the day it has been more luck than any thing else that I have accumulated £680.37 profit so far.
My available balance says £704.37 but £4,not £2 appeared from somewhere?? + £20 was my original stake.
Gonna stick more to the 1.2 shots as that should give me a better chance of not being 'killed'
My luck will eventually run out :( but I'll see how far I'll go before a 'bullet' takes me down.
