Currently laying short price horse, mostly favs, and making money. Yippee. Found a laying tipster and since i started with him on the 1st sept had about 50 bets with only about 6 winners in that time, and with them being short prices i am making good profits. Hes been giving odds ons and mostly under 2/1. Been with these type of tipsters before and they give you 8/1 runners to lay and anyone can do that. Todays lay was sophies beau in the 7.10 wolv which went off at 8/13 and finished 4th. When he first started giving these i wouldnt lay them thinking this is gona win, but the guy seems to know his stuff . Long may it continue.

It is tempting to set up a service like this. You don't even need to know anything about horses - just pick them randomly there's a good chance you'll hit a good run and get more than a few followers hooked for at least a few months.
Then just keep promoting by posting how damn good that Hopeless Bettor is at picking horses to lay. P.S I made Several million last year laying horses, subscription only 24.99 a month. ;-) |

I've tried laying but I find it a bit hit and miss, plus large payouts if losing, any tips? PS Cardiff for the prem!!

dont know of racing index but the lack of a address or phone number for them would clearly put anyone off, who is running it and are they straight, years ago one doing something similiar and doing things**was found to be a convicted fraudster.

you can just as easily be wrong when laying a 4/1 chance or an odds on,so do odds on only.Lay every one to lose the same amount irrespective of price.If you are any good,you should be right more times than you are wrong,thus making a profit.
Do a trial run first,but it should really be about 6 months and keep a record of race, distance,going, number of runners etc.You may find when analysing them that you may be better laying on soft ground,or certain types of tracks or distance,flat or jumps etc.Then you can do away with the types of races that you don't do well in and make your success rate better. |
