1m maiden and a 2 horser going by the betting polygram the fav and prob sets the standard but has had a few chances and too short for me ,Seren star don't seem to improve form debut last time and short enough ,I like the look of song and dance who made a a decent enough debut plugging on and hopefully will be ready to rock and around 20s on here could be worth a w/ and places,also at decent odds Aphrodite spirit made an encouraging debut green and slowly away started to get the hang of things and is open to improvement around 14s on here win and places.
2 maiden/novice stakes today .......the 14.50 bath fav sets the standard but does not look a penalty kick imo and at slight odds on not for me , dark alley similar form to fav and both have exp which is often vital but again short enough ,at the prices well read looks big at 40/1 bills only cost 7k but yard in good form and has an entry in a 150k sales races in October ,rob hornby up and 40s /33s looks very big imo. don't know if anyone reads this blog but will do the other race later .
winners have come out of that race and the winner merchant had race exp whereas hachiman was making debut and slowly away , if he has made progress since that run he could be in the shake up here . I have no qualms taking on a very short price fav with this type .
