Don't be a tawt Nobby, Chelsea were just as bad in the first half, Rogers should have got a second booking and Chelsea then would have been down to 10 men. Then inevitably he sets a goal up straight after half time. Awful inconsistency from the ref who earlier booked Armstrong for a lesser challenge.
Having said that it was dreadful defending for the goal, Maitland Niles at fault again which is three goals in a row that the toffees have conceded where he was at least partly to blame. Looks like we have signed another Right Back who's not a proper Right Back ![]() |
By:
Bit tough on mainland niles, he's held off by Rogers, who back heels to hato, and maitland niles has to now defend against hato.
2 on 1, and maitland niles is the one... Where's the cover? |
By:
Moyes taking forever to make some worthwile changes, as usual....
By:
He's not a proper defender Donny, the last two weeks have shown us that. Better off as a wing back or midfielder. An experienced full back should not have made either of his mistakes last week, but then he's a midfielder turned defender isn't he. I like him when he gets forward but his defending is not great.
Mr S - he brought George on just after half time, thats pretty early ![]() |
By:
Not enough dixie, 82 gone and we still have the same 11 except for George.
By:
and the changes FFS, no Hackney or Dibling I give up.
By:
Moyes with the vacant stare must be on borrowed time imv….empty cabinet…
By:
Didnt want him back and don't want him now, stuck in the past with his tactics.
By:
and there we have it, f00k off Moyes
By:
Blame the defence Mr S, not Moyes. Stop being so myopic, the 2 goals last week and this week were all down to poor play at the back. Which is worrying, given that the solid defence has been our forte in recent times.
Nice easy game next -Arsenal away ![]() |

Dixie why bring on Norgaard who hasnt played all season when we need a goal. Why hasnt Hackney or Dibling had time they must be thinking what are we doing here. You and I dont see eye to eye over Moyes but I have never liked him and never will.

Tarkowski has to be the dirtiest player in the Premier League.

And how many managers have been tried and discarded between his two tenures at the club ? Blame the fans.
He gives stability. If you haven't got the players you can't play like Real Madrid can you ? You should look at the recruitment team and the owners seemingly not stumping up the funds, don't forget they were willing to get rid of Armstrong behind DM's back as well. He pretty much has his hands tied. If Dibling comes on then who does he take off ? I agree Norgaard was not the answer today and Hackney would have been the better choice but not sure it would have made any difference. |
By:
I dont want his brand of stability, he's negative, boring and so predictable. As I said we will never agree about him so enjoy the rest of your day.
By:
Unfortunately Mr S the managers who might fit the fans lofty expectations are not out there. We also have a ridiculously small squad so who could we attract anyway ?
It is not DM's fault that the club bungled the last transfer window and left us with ONE senior striker (who is still a work in progress). How many managers have to put up with that kind of incompetence ? In 140 years the club has had 27 permanent managers. No less than 7 of those came and went in just NINE years before DM's reappointment. Some of those were pretty big names in the football world. The fans must take their share of the blame for that constant merry go round. |

By:
I'd give the Everton supporter Eddie Howe a go tomorrow and he's available.
By:
I agree Eddie would be a good fit, at least on paper.
But the club's poor record on transfers and the current lack of first team players would surely be a fly in the ointment considering how things panned out for him at Newcastle. If we could get some decent new owners then it could be a possibility. |
By:
Agreed on the owners, carpet baggers just looking to flip the club. Hopefully they can get some new buyers quickly.
