1-0 Betis, last night. Just noticed.
Not sure he's all that good, but he already has some epic career highlights.

He has definitely improved a lot as a player over the last few years. He made the correct decision turning down West Am and heading to La Liga and also Champions League football.

Can you repeat that for us please tobes
He has very good hold up play and movement in the box/finishing. I'd say he'd have done well at WHU this time but much more upside for him in La Liga + CL experience. Mourinho gave him his debut at Spurs then loaned him out (rightly).
He tries hard which is a big plus.
Too many players on 100k a week jog around for 50 minutes and spectate from the stands the other 40 minutes.

Got the winner again tonight.
You can say that again.
Good goal as well, Betis got a bargain.
How did they get away with paying only 13.7 mil for a 24 year old who in today's market must be at least 40 mil, Alkmaar mugged off, unless his contract was running down. Kind Regards.

Spurs let him go for just £6.7m two years ago.
Presume he must have been on a 3 year deal, so only one year left. Hence the seemingly low transfer fee, although AZ still doubled their outlay.

So many players in the PL would do far better playing abroad than playing at muck like West Ham, Everton, Spurs etc..
An assist this evening and an audacious attempt from the centre circle in the first 5 mins which was very close.
Parrot playing like a kid in the park with no fear just enjoyment. So many footballers/boxers etc have come from that area of inner city Dublin he grew up in.
Reminds me of Ryan Giggs when he played for Wales. Him, with a bunch of journey men behind him, in a team mostly not good enough to qualify for anything. Eventually, Giggs got tired of this, started not showing up for friendlies. If Parrott continues to progress, and good luck to him at the club level, I fear a similar scenario.
Troy Parrott has scored nine goals in his last six competitive internationals for the Republic of Ireland, converting 60% of his shots in those games (9/15)
