You would be a rich man Joe if you had the answers to that question both Celtic and Sevco would pay handsomely. Personally I think the Celtic academy is poor, no interest or opinion on Sevcos.

I’d rather Celtic spent 20 million on academy long term goal rather flinging darts at a board for short term success. However fans would need to buy into that objective.

I looked at the starting line ups last night, only two Austrians started for Lask, Celtic had 3 Scots starting, of course Academies aren't just for homegrown talent, I just don't the think Scottish Leagues are an attractive proposition for players to come here, there is no doubt the quality of manager the Old Firm are attracting is decreasing.

I think most clubs should adapt that approach but in English football that doesn’t seem to be the case, now players don’t put the price tag on themselves, and players become under intense scrutiny when the fee is too high for what they were realistically worth.

The Champions league has been made too difficult for most of the Champions lol .  Only a small handful of Champions  can go through from the qualifiers .
wait until the bar rises  to 5th and 6th place teams entering at the play off round with an extra qualifying round    ... the majority of  Champions wont get a look in .

Maybe we need a Champions league mk2 edition... for the champions who aren't quite good enough for the Champions league

There is a separate path for league winners from the second qualifying round on. They are kept separate from teams in the qualifiers who finished 2nd 3rd etc. LASK and Celtic both won their leagues

the mk2 champions league idea  could be a winner though

you could even have the champions of the Championship and League 1 ..   as well as  Bundesliga 2  .... you could even give it a tagline  ...'the cup for people who like too watch  Champions in action'

Sevco  laughed at Celtic and quite rightly so, but we had last laugh..

Controversial opinion from myself but I think matches should be free and just don’t spend as much money on transfer fees and wages, give football back to fans.
