Like Boro each way in the Champ around 11/1, West Ham obviously be tough to beat, kept a couple of the stars and seem to be adding firepower but I like how Boro have spent the Rogers and Hackney money and think Hellberg is a good coach and will have them up there again, quite a few question marks over a lot towards the top of the market and think the new SCR rules have hamstrung a lot of the sides so Boro getting 40 odd million in can be a big advantage
Can't really call it at the top end L1 but think Stevenage relegation 4/1 OK enough have lost a lot of the nucleus from last season and don't have the budget to turn it round if they start slow Salford be hard to beat L2 I know they've been smashed in but think 11/2 still alright for them, won't be afraid to spend again in Jan if they're a bit off the pace, having that depth will be key, think behind them there's a cig paper between about 10-15 sides Crewe top half 10/11 and top 7 3/1 I think OK, have signed well and a bit of stability in the squad, not sure how they can be a bigger price than a couple of the basket case clubs like Swindon |

nice match for the gas to kick off...we've now got a clown in charge
|
|

Torquay are a bit short at 5/2 for NLS Reg - i've had to put a few shekels on Maidstone at 33/1, new manager and a squad shake up but i think they are overpriced.

Seems like a few of us are on The Gas for League 2...a nice result in the EFL Cup today against Peterborough from the league above will do nicely Dixie, I agree that Torquay are short, gone 9/4 now, but can see them winning it comfortably with their resources...I can see the Stones having a good-ish season, maybe playoffs, so definitely worth a punt at 33s I see Ebbsfleet been suspended for first 3 games, got to get their finances and ownership sorted out |

I,ve had a dabble at some Non League Stuff
National North .... Macclesfield National South ... Dagenham Southern Prem Central .... Bromsgrove Southern Prem South .... Havant Isthmian Prem .... Chatham ... for Dix ... is Naughty Nile still with em ![]() Win Yankee E/w Acca Good luck Lads ![]() |

By:
Stringy, good luck with that bet
Like the look of Macclesfield and Chatham from those picks |
|
By:
Chats are definitely on the way up, sorry Stringy but Naughty Nile left them at the end of last season after a whole three months
![]() Reg, Ebbsfleet are in a bit of a financial pickle and its going to be some effort to sort them out in time to carry on this season. Would be terrible if they got kicked out under such circumstances ![]() |

Adding a couple into the mix for the season
Isthmian League Premier...Eastbourne Borough at 4/1... should be too strong for the likely challengers of Dartford, Chatham,Folkestone National League South...Weston-super-Mare at 20/1...couple of mates been very impressed with their performances so far, getting this one in the book before they play away to title favourites Torquay tomorrow Championship...Millwall at 22/1...didn't fancy my team to perform as well as last season especially with West Ham, Saints, Boro around...but can't let them go unbacked I've decided Regarding the opening post tips, Bristol Rovers not a great start but Matt Rush (Boreham Wood) scored 5 in the first 2 games, into 2/1 now All above bets with bet356, btw |

Torquay should of course be winning NLS with their resources Reg.
The rest of the division is very average and Weston will probably challenge, they made the play offs last year. A word of caution about their good start - both games have been at home against teams who have lost 2 out of 2, so tomorrow will be a better gauge of their prospects. The Stones are playing Folkestone tomorrow and i expect a few goals, the visitors won their first game 5-1 against Walton and the Stones stuffed the same opponents 3 nil away on Saturday. Not sure what that says for Walton's prospects this season though ![]() |

By:
Penzance, a few mates fancy Stockport and I saw them tipped up in the RP today, can't remember but think it was for the EFL Cup outright
Dixie, couldn't be backing Stones at Evens or less tonight after reading up on their opening game |
|
By:
Sorry, Dixie, I just realised you were saying goals expected...yeah, agree with that
|
|
By:
stockport are playing everton u21 tonight and are 1.23 on here
|
|
By:
6-3 to Stockport Dragon
. They were 3 up at HT, the EFC youngsters got back to 3-3 then let in 3 late goals.Reg - Maidstone and Folkestone ended 1-1, good game by all accounts and should have been more goals. Torquay and Weston was 0-0, away side very happy with that i would think. |
|
By:
Yes, Dixie, didn't get involved myself in those matches, was happy that WSM got through possible hardest away league match in the season with a point, from my outright betting point of view
Think the Stones maybe looking at playoffs at best again |
|
By:
most u21s get beat by teams from the lower leagues- good experience for them mind
