I would too, for the life of me I don't get the Anderson thing at all.
I keep hearing about how good he is and how well he did at the world cup and I'm like, hey, where, who when, confused like

They have both been sold for at least twice as much as they're worth IMO, I'd have thought that during the past 72 hours all English players stock have fallen off a cliff.

The figures are just ridiculous I know it's all to do with balancing the books, spreading it over 10 years etc , especially in the case of Chelsea
Imagine if a 21 year old Messi or Ronaldo were born 18 years or whatever later, and were now available for transfer...you'd be talking about 500 million plus?

Chelsea are the sort of mugs that buy players because other top clubs are interested in them.
Roly Boehly said the only reason they bought Cucurella was because Man City wanted him so "he must be good, right?"
He literally said that lol.
Now buy Rogers because Arsenal were interested in him.
Paying way way over the odds, just to take them from other clubs who were interested.
Does Alonso actually want him or is this player being foisted upon him by one of the 1400 different sporing directors at the club?
I'd imagine it's not his choice, that's how the club operates.
He'd have been a good asset for Arsenal but's it's that big of a problem area.
Eze has his year settling in, was up an down, in and out, but should be much better next season.
I'd rather we pay 100 mil for an upgrade on that Zubimendi position, he who was dropped towards the end of the last campaign.
Chelsea will never cease to be a mug club that pays mug money, the Yanks think if you throw enough money at a problem eventually it'll work. It wont if the manager cannot manage the way he wants with the players he wants.
Kind Regards.

in that case looks like they are actually letting the manager manage which would be a change of ownership style.
Rogers could have turned them down, so looks like he's giving up the chance for Champions League football next season for a bigger weekly wage, I suppose at his age he will get more chances for CL football.

I don’t get the Anderson thing either, Duffy. Thought he looked OK for an hour the other night but definitely not a £120m man. At least Rogers will contribute with a fair tally of goals.
