apparently there's been 'month of speculation', this is the first I've heard of itCoronation street would have to be on free to air as it's on a life support machine as it is, putting behind a pay wall would finish it offmight mean a return of CL football to ITV, at least some of the less appealing gamesKind Regards.

Coronation Street is a shadow of its former self, no great characters, the pub that used to be the hub of the show is an empty shell, it's a shocker, I watch classic Corrie in the afternoons instead, Emmerdale much the same story, don't watch Eastenders but caught a bit last week and it was an LGBTQ fest so that's gone the same way too by the looks of it.
Ae you sure you did not watch it for the material it was showing on Eastenders. Next Phil is taking puberty blockers ++spoiler alert++.
Murdoch sold Sky 8 years ago
Sold to Disney in exchange for 20% of Disney shares.
So Murdoch owns 20% of the company that owns sky and a zillion other media properties, he gets to hand pick at least two board members on Disney and its subsidiaries.
