Sorloth and Haaland are both 6ft 5. Burn is 6ft 7. Konsa and Guehi both 6ft

I think you've hit on the risk,you-have. logically he would be the best choice to stay with the
big Viking but there is a chance of giving away penalties. |

Burn was great at the Azteca for the 30 minutes he played, but he makes me feel uncomfortable in central defence, would rather him at left back with O'Reilly playing further forward in his more natural position, Burn could still be useful marking Haaland at corners or being in the free kick wall, or even dangerous with set pieces at the other end. Haaland is also much quicker from a starting position than Burn so he's probably leave him for dead at times. I've no idea if Haaland's poor record against Newcastle means much, Howe must have had Burn at left in some of those games, was he playing in all the others, was he personally responsible for stopping Haaland etc.
just need to stop balls reaching him rather than worry about when they do, stop crosses, stop balls being threaded through. Kind Regards. |

Its likely Haaland will get a goal against us, but I fancy us to get 3/4 at the other end. Norway have 2 great players, a decent keeper and a fit/workmanlike rest of the team. They are the sort of quarter final opponent we would dream of facing, I wouldn't make a special plan to deal with Haaland, we rely on our firepower at the other end to blow them away

I could see Burn coming on to protect a lead as he did against Mexico. His height was vital in that game.
