Cash out and enjoy the rest of the tournament and hope neither win .

After all only one of them can anyway Grin
Report s.kenbo July 5, 2026 6:38 AM BST
The France bet must be tempting to cash out. You’re getting just over 2/1 for them to win three games in a row against decent opponents. I didn’t see the game but the Paraguay win didn’t sound too easy. Good luck.

I’m not cashing out these bets, only the books win when you cash out a potential big win, if Spain and France meet in the semi final, will make a decision and take a chance and cash out on Spain probably, cross that bridge when i  come to it
Report roadrunner46 July 5, 2026 9:58 AM BST
Do have some insurance on the bets, when I picked up £18k on PSG  champions league double, invested around £6k
Argentina 9/1 £30k pay out
England 15/2  £36k pay out put some of the bets on with other WC matches
Report s.kenbo July 5, 2026 10:44 AM BST
The France one isn’t the worst cash out you’ll see by a long way. Some firms would be offering 25% less than its true value.
Report roadrunner46 July 5, 2026 12:41 PM BST
Agreed good cash out offer on France, make them about an evens   Chance of winning the World Cup, financially I need the big win, cashing out is not an option
Report roadrunner46 July 5, 2026 12:59 PM BST
When I dreamt up the bet, it was flash of brilliance in my mind, check the definition of the word inspire, that’s exactly what happened a flow of mental energy, breaking through normal patterns of thoughts and thinking , biggest mistake I made was not putting £1000 bet on the four fold which paid over 200/1, you have a gut instinct about some bets and so profound you know they are going to win before a ball is kicked
Report DixieDean60 July 5, 2026 1:02 PM BST
Cash out not an option as £27k is not a big win ? Are some gangsters after you or something RR Laugh

What happens if neither win, you'll get eff all on those bets then Cry

at fivers/tenner stakes,MBAPPE at 7.8 is now been offered at 3, a a cash out on betfair, with messi, kane, alfie, even the spanish striker, 40 quid for a tenner looks ok to me,what do others think ?, messi has egypt as his game in hand, all might look clearer after todays games as far as golden boot is concerned
Report 1st time poster July 5, 2026 1:22 PM BST
obviously the stakes matter, but to 5,10 quid punters, france current cash out offer is 3 to 5,so 2,s+ is obviously huge

365 is the only bookie account I have left, the only reason they let me have what I thought was sizeable bets on was because I've lost untold amounts with them placing speculative accas and singles, i.e. no system or betting pattern that rings alarm bells as they even close accounts that are losing if they can see that what you're doing is long term profitable, yet still anything more than a few hundred and I have to wait for traders to approve it, don't know how you're getting thousands on
Report DixieDean60 July 5, 2026 1:47 PM BST
RR at 12.59 going full on David Icke , if you knew the bet was going to win why are you on here waffling about cash outs Laugh

So much contradiction in RR's various posts it's making my head spin. For instance, he won't cash out France at £27k as it's not a big enough win, yet if Spain play France in the semis he may cash out on the Spanish bet which is currently only £6k and won't be too much higher by then Crazy

The general problem with these type of threads is that you never know the full story , not saying the bets are not real , but there could be lots of other losing bets not shown ,
its a bit like people saying they have backed the grand national winner every year but in reality they have backed 30 horses in the race .

All the insurance bets I put on at betfred, usually 100/200 amounts at a time, the only reason was posting about the cash out
Offers, basically sharing some information about the bet and how it’s progressing through the tournament and the offers the books
Are making on the bets, explaining my reasons and probably moves going forward in the tournament regarding these bets, has zero value for me
Report roadrunner46 July 6, 2026 1:08 PM BST
And as England had a difficult match against Mexico earlier, chose to share that I had  a £3000 plus insurance bets on them winning the tournament yesterday, which was a calculated move.thought Mexico played really well, also shows England are vunerable to teams who can move the ball well and have dangerous attacking players
Report roadrunner46 July 6, 2026 1:20 PM BST
The fact remains that the bet was put on a very popular thread, £50 bet to win £35k, if I didn’t want to posters on here to win a substantial amount of money, would of never posted this bet in the first place
Report DixieDean60 July 6, 2026 1:33 PM BST
So you are putting a myriad of insurance bets on but won't consider the France cash out ?

"financially i need a big win so cash out is not an option" - and yet you are throwing thousands on cover bets on other countriesCrazy

What is your NET win at present if France win (after deducting  all of these other bets  that will be losers) ?
Report roadrunner46 July 6, 2026 1:46 PM BST
The net win on France is £60k, betfred had the best price on England at 15/2 when was putting on the insurance bets, did consider Portugal, settled on Argentina and England and kept the potential payout’s lower

Asked AI about the bets it recommended no cover bets, instead bet the other team in the crunch matches, obviously doesn’t have the intelligence to understand the strategy
Report roadrunner46 July 6, 2026 1:55 PM BST
The bet  was put on mesmerised Coventry thread last October
Report roadrunner46 July 6, 2026 2:00 PM BST
Next season pick the competition’s for an outright’s thread and everyone should post their heir selection’s, next year have nations league championships, World Cup could provide the clues to which team has the best chance of winning.
That will boost potential payout’s, bets probably be 1000/1 plus accumulator’s
Report DixieDean60 July 6, 2026 2:09 PM BST
Your cover bets are going to return £30k or so if its one of them that wins.

You said "cash out is not an option" as you "have to win" the £66k should France lift the trophy. It is not clear why this is essential to you ?

You are being offered £27k on France, which is not that much difference than your insurance bets will provide.

It's all very confusing.
Report roadrunner46 July 6, 2026 2:17 PM BST
Trying to increase the payouts on the cover bets, didn’t have any luck, about £2.5k down on the WC at the moment

Some bets on today’s match

Spain to draw 1-1 2-2 3-3
Argentina win 1.5 goals
France win 1.5 goals

And the same trebles with Spain winning and btts

Put just over £366 on those bets
Report roadrunner46 July 6, 2026 2:25 PM BST
The corrupt Paraguay vs France match cost 2.5k payday, had France winning and  1.5 goals, Brazil missing a penalty last night cost them any chance of getting anything out of the match, had them and the score draw with England, another £3.2k payday lost

RR, i'm still mystified as to why £27k is not enough of a big win for you.  You stated that financially you NEED a big win but never said why ?

Obviously it's your prerogative to not say why you need to win such a sum , but it's a bit strange to come out with such things in the first place.

Given the plethora of other bets you seem to place you don't exactly seem to be watching the pennies Laugh

The biggest bet I have put on here was earlier this year when I claimed had a £1700 double on a match and PSG winning the champions league, now Aston Villa had won the first leg at 4/6, PSG at the time were 11/2 to win the champions league, had a few big bets lose on here, that was the biggest bet and it won £18.4k

I did lose a large bet on Liverpool to win the premier league last season, no sooner had I put £7k on that bet they lost thier next 6 matches in a row.

Lucky for me was able to pick three certainties in n a treble for £7k and won £19k

Life is very expensive these days

£29732 latest cash out offer, about £8550 on Spain, wasn’t impressed tonight, if could have scored earlier would’ve have been a better match
