pubs will need to double their  staff to take the same amount of money ,they,d have took on a sun afternoon,night,from those taying off it and going to pub for game,you can only drink and spend the same pint once

A landlord was asked about these type of events a couple of years ago and how he must love all the extra takings , no he said as yes 1 night he makes a lot but the rest of the week no one comes in , so doesnt make any more in reality .

Clubs are open all week long, all night long, don't see the difference in a pub being open

The first time I saw a £7 a pint in London was in Finsbury Square a few years ago, I thought they'd actually be about £10 a pint by now  the way it was going, but haven't seen that, maybe in some real high end establishments in London there are.

£8 - £9 a pint is common place here in S.E. London.
