looked a defeated man at the press conferences.

and he'd just been given a new contract.

Surely he didn't write off 4 years money

Maybe mutual thing with some pay off.

Think SFA were unhappy with his behaviour on the pitch side interview. That's why he had go back out and redo it.

Wasn't even a one off - he did it with Radio 5 after the Morocco game...

if you want that type of job ...deal with media nonsense professionally..

once is excusable ...every game you lose...is not..especially as Scotland manager..

They need a younger man, he is a dinosaur.
When he first took over, he was sitting in a press conference self indulging in his own Scotland career - or lack of, complaining about how few caps he got and how he should have had more etc.

Great number 2 in his time, but he's not a front man.

They'll probably try and get Moyes.

Kind Regards.

only honourable thing to do. despite the difficulty of the group, should have made it through. the world and his wife knew one win and -1 gd would probably be enough to go through and if you know that two teams in your group are likely to beat you, then youve got to make the other match count. they didnt. beating haiti 1-0 was par at best.

morroco were +2 against  hatia, scotland in 1st game were +1,keano,wrighthy etc asking scots to have a go at brazil/morroco  is like demanding hull have a go at city and arsenal, with the inevitable results

Should have had a go a lot earlier v Morocco. They were never going to go for 2 or 3 the way Brazil would and did. Clarke was at fault but some of his defenders completely bottled it with howlers costing goals which completely undermined his plans early in both games they lost. All 4 of the goals they conceded were soft.

The first and last question should be, who told them to play out from the back against Brazil ?
