Rumoured that the 2028 competition will be expanded to include European teams. Seems a bit daft to me tbh.

The Copa America is ridiculous , has countries from North America and Japan and Qatar before , nothing would surprise me .

The Americas ones should be merged, but then a lot of officials lose their salaries and the other income they get from it
The 24 team World Cups had 14 European and 2 African nations. Now it's doubled in size but Europe has just 16 places, Africa has 10. And Europe went from having about 32 nations to about 55 |

As if this would ever happen, breaking up the domestic European season to go off to Africa to play a meaningless tournament - in January, then another one in Summer for the Euros? where are you getting these rumours from, the gossip column in the Daily Star?

they're changing AFCON to once every four years after the 2028 one, so it'll always be in the same year as the Euros, not only is AFCON a month long, if European teams were there, it'd push the league season further back and wouldn't be able to finish til late June, then the Euro's would have to start and end in July, then the new season, playing two international tournaments in the space of six months, then there's the travelling, must be April fools day or someone's got their rod out, Kind Regards.

but didnt the sweaty socks famously fook up trying /or one of the first to try n colonise central america.... Panama if i am correct on ma history am sure someone will correct me if am wrong...1400 hundreds or so... |
