American pundits are saying this game is a lay up for the Yanks, hope the Aussie smash them, but realistically best they can hope for is probably a draw. It's a CL group stage team at best, v a Conference last 8 sort of team. If the Aussies play to the same level as they did v Turkey, they have a chance of a result. Hopefully the aptly named Aussie Keeper Beach, keeps those American bums at bay.

Compared to some of the Australian sides at previous WC's - looks very light to me but they still put in a helluva of a shift..just don't see them often converting their rare chances in they style they did the other night..outshot 30-9 by Turkey
Although we have a sporting rivalry with the Aussies, I'd love nothing more than to see them beat the Yanks, especially after listening to some of their pundits on how easy the game will be, the ironic thing is Aussie fans were probably happy they got the US as well.

Pulisic a miss, but how big a miss in a game where they're expected to have so much dominance? It wasn't only he who impressed in their opener, it was the overall team performance that impressed over 1 individual. Aussies always gonna set up for another smash&grab as they did against the Turks, but you won't get away with that when you're opponent shows any decent level of efficiency with their attacking dominance.
Why tf do refs stop games at corners to sort out hustling, just let the corner be taken and then give the foul one way or another, every ref does this and sometimes takes an eternity for a corner to be taken
Aussies passing it out from the back, scroll up people and look at the level of clubs they play for and they're doing that, the Pep disease 
The problem is 95% of teams cannot do it, they get caught out time and again
I watch a lot of A league and can't see any big names from Sydney jets etc in this squad. Bit disappointed the a league is great to watch, more exciting than prem anyway

from what I read it was more a club decision than an Arteta one, he'd get a game for United and Chelsea over their current forwards
I can't see Australia getting back into this from what I've seen, US way too comfortable in defence against any attack

the odds are not that generous, given that Morocco were 10/11 at the start of the comp. I got a (little) bit of 2.1 a couple of weeks ago, would've taken much more of it had been available.

On a more serious note. Having seen a lot of pens and red cards given so far for not very much. I've taken Morocco to score a pen at 5/1. With the amount of attacking Morocco will be doing in and around the box, with clumsy defenders like Hanley and the other one, and Diaz diving all over the place, a pen is quite likely. Especially if some-one gets the ball fired at them from close range and can't get their hands out of the way.

Pen defo a decent shout. Especially if a player is foolish enough to be running in one direction, swiftly change his direction and stick out a hand to stop the ball passing, a pen will be certain again.

Some of these games look like players are deciding how many goals
I'm not an expert on Cricket but you can only imagine how much tampering of the ball those sly Aussies were doing for decades before it became common knowledge and eventually being caught
players spent more time laid out on the Pitch than anything else ,Usa bit of exibition passing no interest in scoring
They've changed the tie-breaker to H2H in the groups so now the USA are guaranteed top and will likely play a weak team against the Turks. Same with Mexico in the other group against the Czechs. Bit of a farce really. It was always GD first in FIFA comps and qualifiers before, even the qualifiers for this WC.
Actually that's wrong ,the Turks can finish top if they win their last 2, but it is the case in the Mex group and prob will be in others too.
