What we are looking at here, at least on paper, is a Champions League level team always reaching the knockouts, v Europa League level team, but as we have seen with Japan against England in a recent friendly, is that they are capable of punching above their weight, they do this with their high press and relentless energy - rather than great technical ability.
I have this down as a draw, think Holland's backline could be run ragged but will have enough going forward to compensate.

Japan have been a bit subdued, but they seem to be happy to soak up the mostly ineffectual Dutch attacks. It is a bit risky, though.
Don't think a single player in this Dutch team would get into the 98 side maybe bar Van Dijk for Reiziger

Reijnders is very average too. He really only comes good around December time each year.

Wow nice win, not the amount, just felt worked out. Put on the thread for Germany game may have a bet and did, had sky £5 4/1 to have a header on target, here £2 8.6 on Van Dijk to score, really funny got more of a kick on that bet, than the bigger bets I have had that have won and lost.

Anyone at h/t that backed over 2.5 & 3.5 must be able to see in the future, I thought half time 0-0 or 1-0.

It's hard to ever see an Asian or African team ever winning the World cup in my lifetime, they're not even close to the levels of the top European or South American sides
If Koeman does not get at least the 1/4 finals he is gone and top manager will be brought in, someone like A Slot...not a machine type.
