The shooting was poor, plenty of efforts from 12 to 20 yards out that either got blocked, or went wide or over...wherever I see shots going over, including one from Kane who doesn't normally do that, and crosses being overhit, I tend to think the ball is too light, or lighter than what they're used to

England won't get a hatful of chances in the World Cup, especially in the knock-out stages.
Harry Kane gave one great pass when playing in what an oldie like me would say was a half-back position.
In the real thing the best teams will control the ball more than England did last night.
Running around huffing and puffing will tell against any team.
