Betfairs boosts , saka goal or assist , he wont play , rice shot on target each half , doubt he will play more than 1 half , anderson 6 or more foul involvements , again doubt he plays more than 1 half , does betfair actually have a clue about football or are they just trying to con people

I can't remember the last time VAR sent a ref to review his decision on the screen...and the ref NOT changing his decision...ie No, I'll stick with my original decision
It's as though the VAR person has overall control
Not saying the one tonight wasn't correct BTW...Just in general

England started quite well, but with all the delays, the heat and fairly physical approach by Costa Rica, they've not really been able to kick on. Although they'll take an easy win with no injuries.

The shooting was poor, plenty of efforts from 12 to 20 yards out that either got blocked, or went wide or over...wherever I see shots going over, including one from Kane who doesn't normally do that, and crosses being overhit, I tend to think the ball is too light, or lighter than what they're used to

England won't get a hatful of chances in the World Cup, especially in the knock-out stages. Harry Kane gave one great pass when playing in what an oldie like me would say was a half-back position. In the real thing the best teams will control the ball more than England did last night. Running around huffing and puffing will tell against any team.
Do England have an Andrea Pirlo clone in the squad? England need a conductor in midfield.
