I placed a bet on Ghana to beat wales in the match betting last night. Wales equalised in the 93rd minute and my bet was settled as a loser. The match was a 90 minute guarantee so I expected to be settled as a winner. Had an online chat with Betfair but they say the 90 minute guarantee includes stoppage time. Which for any non knock out competition renders this offer pointless. I have been paid out a number of times at 90 minutes and my team has gone on to concede a goal or more and draw or lose. Confused and out of pocket.

Are you 100% sure you took the 90 minute price , looking at the friendly matches , they have the normal prices first and then underneath the 90 minute prices

Thanks MSM, I’ve looked at tonight’s friendlies and they do have a drop down option for the 90 minute guarantee with slightly different odds. I’m used to it being automatically available when I place my football bets. My mistake. Bugger!

So they have two different prices because of the ‘90 minute concession’ ? That’s ridiculous if so.

B365 do the two goals ahead concession. Still the same prices for both (as it should be).

Betfair have made an error, the customer services are clueless

Speak to a manager, make a complaint...

If they also offer different prices from a drop down
without it being easily spotted by regular punters
then complain about that too.

I watched that game and was shocked at how bad Ghana were. They made Wales look half decent at times. I was already considering England - Croatia forecast at 5/6. The only danger is that Croatia beat England or outscore them (which I don't expect, as England are a better than Croatia these days) Looking at Ghana they are nowhere near good enough to split the European teams.

bet365 also offer slightly enhanced odds, if you don't want the 2 goal payout but it defaults to the 2 goal variant

I don't think the opening poster who's desperately trying to claw his money back, is one bit particularly interested in the analysis of good or bad Ghana were at the momentLaugh

The 90 minute guarantee odds are atrocious. N Ireland tonight evens versus 2.34 on the exchange, Sweden 5/6 v 2.04.

Yes the 90 minute odds are atrocious considering how often you would benefit from it ,
tonight sweden 1.97 exchange , 4/5 90 minute guarantee .

In the Premier League last season out of the 380 matches , only 31 results changed after the 90 minutes .

at best shouldnt be advertised/thought as a concession ,its just a different bet with different prices,I won a few on EPL matches earlier in season and thought it applied to all advertised games and fell of it expecting to be paid out on a championship game
