He became a commentator in north America, espn etc

Quite like sid wadell in many ways, north East accent

I like Ally McCoist but Lucy Ward has me reaching for the mute button.

Ali has a grating voice I admit but he calls it as it is . Most pundits explain how it was never a penalty then Var appears and the same pundit tells  us it was definitely a penalty all along. They seem unable to disagree with a ref or call out a player who is obviously diving or feigning injury.

Well I think he provides some good insight in that chair, but if you need something more exciting then I can see why he'd not be for you.

I like Mccoist, I can see how he and the other guy might get on some peoples nerves with their pally pally comic double act but I don't mind it.

Clinton Morrison on 5Live is usually very good especially with getting decisions right.
