West Ham fighting against relegation, Arsenal fighting for the title. Rice returning to his old club will add an extra dimension.
Tottenham fans in a quandary, need to support Wham to avoid the drop, don't want to support Arsenal winning the league.

The tension in this game will be palpable.

Don't be silly. Not one Spurs supporter will be shouting for West Am in this game.

There was also all the fans that wanted City to beat Tottenham last year so Arsenal couldn't win the league, remember fans saying they'd rather be relegated then see Arsenal win the league, well it's a plausible scenario now one year on!

If Arsenal win tomorrow, they win the league, no way they slip up against Burnley at home and Palace away who will be preparing for their European final.

But it is not foregone conclusion at all, West Ham are fighting for their lives, surely nobody would be surprised if this is a draw and the title is then won on goal difference, feels like it's still shaping up that way. Wham have been generally good under Nuno.

Surely Spurs fans would want a draw, keeps the Hammers below them and potentially scuppers the arse title hopes.

Let's get something very clear here. Spurs were last relegated in 1977 and returned to the top flight in 1978. Since then we've been a mainstay, almost 50 years. In that time Arsenal have won the league a total of 5 times.

Now, all of a sudden, Spurs fans would rather go down (or risk going down) than see Arsenal win the league for a 6th time?

Maintaining our status in the top flight is significantly more important than Arsenal winning the league again.

THAT is all that matters.

If I were a spurs fan I'd want arsenal to beat wham, and
then blow it on last game of the season, whilst spurs
wore flip flops on white Hart Lane sands supping large
baileys and smoking large cohibas.

If arsenal beat the Hammers tomorrow then the title is theirs. No way will they fail to beat Burnley and a European final bound Palace.

A draw for WHU not enough to keep Leeds in danger which makes Spurs' job on Monday easier. Hope we start fast and go for the win. If we lose it a point or none not much difference in the current situation.

There's pressure on Arsenal now after City's win, it would be better for the title race and relegation  fight if West Ham got something, draw or win. Wouldn't be the first time Arsenal have bolted under pressure. I also wonder if the huge amount of games they've played this season will catch up with them, they've gone all the way to the League cup final and Champions League final, quarters of the FA Cup.

I think Arsenal would be happy enough with the draw with their favourable last 2 fixtures. Hopefully that approach might leave them vulnerable.

I don't think a draw suits either team and I this should be an open game with goals. Last six matches have resulted in three wins and three losses for both teams; home or away doesn't seem matter. Prior to last six Arsenal generally won fixture going back over previous 20 years. I thought West Ham were unlucky against Brentford, they created plenty of chances but defended terribly. Arsenal seem to have got some of their mojo back, Saka a key player today assuming he plays.

The clock is ticking. Palace, Forest and Leeds all hoping for an Arsenal win, which would confirm their safety, leaving a confirmed 2-horse race... as if it wasn't anyway. Arsenal have never had so many fans rooting for them.

No idea what happened there?

My post said….. I can see this being a big number win for the once the gooners go two up the hammers heads will drop and the now commonplace mass fan exodus will begin turning the atmosphere in to one of desperation….with a need to improve the goal difference at that point the gunners will drive the defeat home…..I have back arsenal to win 3..4..and 5 plonk….

Talksport pay plants to come on and make controversial statements. That's how they get clicks, engagement and revenue.

I don't like Arsenal's style of play, and Arteta gets my goat. For those reasons alone I don't want them to win a major trophy. I think they will win one, though. And it probably won't be the Champion's League.
