I wondered how man utd Liverpool would get priced up.
You'd think Bournemouth would be a decent bet. |
|
By:
I'm surprised Tottenham are a shorter price at Villa than West Ham at Brentford.

Now we need Emery to do an Ange.
|

Just watched the Wham match on MotY, how unlucky were they today, despite awful defending. Woodwork three times, marginal offside goal disallowed by VAR cartoon.

That's why we love the game, isn't it?
Newcastle v Brighton fairly similar, but makes for great entertainment, drama pressure and jeopardy, love it!. |

SA - the Hammers used up their luck against the toffees last week
![]() They were unfortunate with some of those missed chances today but when you score an own goal and give away a senseless penalty to gift your opponents a two goal lead then you only have yourselves to blame. Its looking perilous for them now with Arsenal to play next. You would expect Premier League defenders to be a lot better than we have often seen this season. If i want to see bad defending and lots of thrills and spills i can go to Maidstone in National League South, lot cheaper too - competitive division though, only 7 points separated the Champions from 9th place. |

For the good of the game VAR cannot continue, a truly shocking penalty award there....I've backed Bournemouth and I still didn't want it to be awarded...shocking.

im sure var gave it just to back the ref up, there is no way on gods green earth thats a penna

Highly unlikely Palace will be going down, so I doubt they care either way. They've got bigger fish to fry in Europe and they're strong favourites. What a buzz that will be for the fans.
|
|
By:
Will it be that much of a buzz? really??
It's a similar stuation to what Palace had last year FA Cup winners and joy through-out the club, fast forward to this season and we've had the manager at odds with the club, lost best player and misery and unrest through the season, yes they're in the tinpot euro competition but next year they'll finally be without Glasner, so from that FA Cup glory to where they'll be at the start of next season will be a world of difference. |
|
By:
Yes I believe it would duffy. Winning any European trophy, their first no less, will be a major achievement for the club. I'm sure Slippy will provide a definitive answer though.

Like going out with miss World for two years, then her flecking off
leaving you to start again. Got to take it, enjoy it, and cherish the memories |
|
By:
Would be my outside bet for relegation next year, new manager, what's happening with Mateta, Wharton will be off, can see them struggling.
|
|
By:
But yes, a couple of trophies is great of course.
|
|
By:
I don't believe Forest will play the same tactics as Villa this afternoon. They're not safe and as of now they can be caught... and overtaken. They've shown some good form of late and I feel they will give Chelsea something to think about.

Pep Guardiola is unbeaten in his 15 previous Premier League meetings with David Moyes (W13 D2), only Guardiola against Sean Dyche and Alex Ferguson against Steve Bruce has a manger faced someone more times without losing in the competition (both 17)
