Liam Rosenior has left Chelsea after Tuesday’s 3-0 defeat at Brighton.
The head coach has gone three and a half months into a six-and-a-half-year contract after taking charge of only 23 matches.

A shame it didn’t work out for him but it was a ludicrous decision to hire him in the first place.

I wouldn't be at all surprised that at this stage of his career he never even wanted the job in the first place, it was more a case of an employee being informed by his bosses that he was being relocated to a different part of the business and the employee having to accept or leave.

Just googled compensation packages

Around £70 Million on Tuchel, Potter, Pochettino, Maresca and, now, Rosenior

Massive amounts of cash injected, sense of entitlement, lack of trophies, impatient fans, dodgy board, increasing management turnover.. all symptoms of spursyitis. Severe cases can result in relegation.

Has to be the daftest appointment in recent times.
A clearer case of players downing tools you can not wish to see.

I can’t imagine Jesus going, I’ve told a few people here in Bethlehem I’m the son of god, can I just stay at home with mum and dad now. No, you’ve got to move on. You’ve got to spread the word. You’ve got to go to Nazareth…please. And that’s very much like me.

absolutely hilarious. one of the supposed lines about why rosenior has flunked is the players dont fancy him. and now theyve given the job to someone with even less playing and coaching pedigree until the end of the season. this after saying they have sacked rosenior because theres still so much to play for this season. if rosenior couldnt do anything, what chance has the u21 coach got.

dont feel too sorry for rosenior. pro rata he probably get one of the biggest payoffs ever and his stint was so short he can say it would have all worked out if he had been given enough time. one thing is certain. you would need to be mental if youre a top coach to go anywhere near chelsea right now.

It’s like bloody ‘Dead Poet’s Society’ when they all stand on the tables I wouldn’t want them on the tables – it’s against Health and Safety.
