Wonder will the players in the dressing room (especially the non-Europeans) show her the respect that is required to be a manager at this level. I think not. This will very soon prove to be a terrible appointment. Anyway, I'll be closely watching this trainwreck in the making.

This will be interesting I agree, but when you consider that Villas-Boas made it all the way to the top without kicking a professional football, then why not a woman?
As sofa says, it'll boil down to the player's attitude towards her. |

i hope she does well - surprised no club has been interested in the manager of englands womens team who i think looks a decent manager - cant remember her name

Emma Hayes who managed Chelsea ladies was a good pundit on the men's game as well as the woman's. Quite a jump for some to accept a female boss, not just football. |
