I won't be betting tonight. If I were I would go for both teams to score at 1.85. Neither team have many clean sheets in recent games and both have well recognised goalscorers although Isak is out with a fracture. I think there will be goals, perhaps Desmond will put in an appearance with this one. Have fun.

Date Joined: 28 Feb 04 Good morning all. Apologies for the intrusion That link of joelpina's is just a harmless red herring but it appears that this is not the only topic he's tried to mislead. He's posted on several other Forums apart from 'Horse Racing'. Makes you wonder what motivates 'em. This guy seems to be saying the link is BS! ![]() |

I expect Sweden to win quite comfortably, they've finally hit some form ,and Poland looked quite ordinary against Albania .

I don't know what you mean by a fake link, friend. I just do my advertising, like everyone else does as an affiliate.

Poland were the better team too judging by the betting and the stats

I got my bet up but was a struggle ,but I agree with Racingqueen it doesn't feel fair that they qualify after finishing bottom of their qualifying group and entering the play offs through some back door Nations league result .

It's a joke, but designed to increase teams committing to
nations league, and treating it with more respect than it might otherwise receive. Job done for uefa/fifa |

Yes but it's become very difficult to qualify from europe despite the expansion of the world cup because europe has expanded hugely since 1990 with the breakup of USSR and Yugo and addition of Israel.
UEFA should not be giving play-off spots to Nations League C group winners. NI got one for winning a group with Bulgaria, Belarus and Lux, Romania with Kosovo, Cyprus and Lithuania, North Macedonia with Armenia, Faroes and Latvia. Sweden won the other group. That's 4 play-off spots and then you have a teams not even trying in a WC qual group. Sweden were the Pot 2 team in a 4 team group. I have no issue with Sweden getting in, they played their hand well and fair play to them. |

As a Swede I am happy we qualified, but I completely agree with you. Sweden was rewarded for being awful in the 2022 Nations League group B and relegated to group C in 2024. Had Sweden stayed in Group B, it would have needed to beat Norway and Austria in the 2024 NL season to get a playoff spot. Much easier to get that playoff spot by winning Group C against Slovakia, Azerbaijan and Estonia instead. |

It is ridiculous , I wonder if this continues , you could have a group where every team qualifies

1990 WC 24 teams: 12/13 Euro teams (Italy hosted), 2 African
2026 WC 48 teams: 16 Euro teams, 10 African, 6/10 in South America (could have been 7 with Bolivia) despite their being about 20-25 new countries in Europe/UEFA since 1990. The Czechs also split into 2 countries. |
