It's easy to say you are going to bet £30 of a £3000 tank when it's full, it's not quite so cosy when you have knocked out 2/3 of it in a month. C

if backing singles then a 100 point bank should be plenty, but if youre having accumulators, then longer losing runs due to the higher odds of landing need to catered for.
