Thank god,simple to understand VAR rules coming in soon.
At last.

Going back to the ,if you’re level ,you’re onside.to stop these crazy pixels ankles offside.

It’s a good effort at this time,only 2 minor errors,which dosent affect tone.
Can’t wait till 2027,when the 5cm line becomes 10 cms, And a premier league winning goal is 11cm s The both teams to score laying company ,will fight this tooth and nail,literally nail.players asked to have manicures before matches to reduce risk of nails offside. Years ago,fifa stated,to encourage goals ,if you’re level ,you’re onside,these days,it’s shoulder sockets,or boot flaps stopping goals. We are reduced to 1 pixel off,you’re off, And as Jacob Rees mogg said,after the last brexit vote ,if you win by 1 you win. Cricket even have a percentage ball rule,but football,drills down to pixels, Yet no discussion on when the ball leaves the players foot,for a pass. The whole system is shocking. Torso infront,with a gap,then offside. If torso is within defenders torso,then onside. The 5 cm,should be the gap behind,not in front.plus torso,not ankles,shoulders. That’s what the linesman would see. |

Why does football,want to cancel goals.
Is being a pixel offside really gaining an advantage. Can a defensive line really judge,to play the player offside by pushing up. It’s a negative,backwards step,concerning rules. More goals ,more entertainment. Hence all the back pass rules,keeper seconds,subs leave pitch nearest position,time wasting yellow cards. Everything is geared to more goals,more attacking football. Except offsides, This is built around, How can we find a reason to cancel this goal. |

Just goals,that are sort of goals,being allowed, Rather than,let’s investigate this,and try and find a reason to cancel it. Before VAR.oooh those were the days. A linesman,looked down the line for offside. He didn’t look at ankles,shoulders,he looked generally at torsos,if level,onside,etc. No human can spot a pixel offside,espically if it’s an ankle. Technology is meant to help the officials. They allow bad tackles,etc cos ref called it a yellow,but offsides are crazy. When do you draw the line,I.e from the pass. Where do you draw the line, Where on the body,arm,shoulder etc So now gone to 5cm.but what’s the rule on pass release,that’s objective. The B of the bang Or The G of the bang As linford Christie once said. Has to be 5 cm clear gap from torso to torso. Forget ankles,shoulders. They’ve over complicated it. |
