That’ll please Steve Clarke.  He’ll be wanting him to hang on to the spot with the U.S. in mind.

He made his debut for Hearts at home as a rank greenhorn, straight from Tynecastle Boys Club.  Five goals went past him!  He had to be shattered.  Levein did one of his greatest management acts by putting his arm around him as he came off, assuring him all through the coming week that he had the ability to have a career in the game etc; etc; ensuring his confidence didn’t sink.  The rest is history as they say.
Roy Keane later bought him for Sunderland for £12M, and his Boys Club benefitted to the tune of £970,000!

Some agility for a 43 year old there, i bet Schwolow wouldn't have saved it Grin

Maybe Hearts are destined to win the league after all.

You even saw Dundee's Emile Acquah rolling away with his arms out in celebration. Just like Pele all those years ago.
An amazing highlight.
Think its the biggest story of the weekend.
Which is saying something given its the 3rd round of the Cup.

Significant game to win.  Next time they need to dig deep this one will be there giving them resolve.
Prediction though.  They will rue the day they keep playing Steinwender at right back ( for whatever reason ).  The guy gives the wide man so much space then, invites him to go out wide, and gifts him a yard to do so.  And if I see that so will everybody else and play on it.
Dundee feel hard done by because Hearts took their free kick six yards further forward than they should have, leading to the goal.  They should ask their defender why he fed the dead ball to the Hearts guy so directly, which allowed him to take the kick quick.  Poor stuff on their part.

Amazing save, especially from behind the goal. It looks for a moment like the ball has already gone past him or is out of reach and on its way into the net.

Hearts players seemingly doing their best to sabotage the club’s title challenge - another red card, at home tonight, after just fifteen minutes!  Poor stuff.

2-0 with ten men.  This side is really proving its mettle!

Laugh   I think the last two results really show how much grit and mettle this new side has.  Can we win it?  We’ll never have a better chance.  However, little Cammy Devlin taken off injured late on.  If serious it will be serious indeed because he is like a fulcrum of the side in the midfield.

Yep.  I couldn’t help but laugh at little Cammy Fraser, who is about a foot shorter than Craig trying to congratulate him.  Looked like a kid having to look very upwards hugging his Dad.
