Actually that was the kick off for the final.

West Germany v Italy seems to have been 10pm, and would have ended well after midnight.

4pm local time west Germany Italy so it seems it was a 10 pm kick of which does surprise me however I was 55 years younger then.

Could anyone clarify what was going to happen if the game ended in a draw Wikipedia says lots would have been drawn yet listening to the commentary last night he said penalty shot out .
