Nobody handed Liverpool the title last season. They were 7 ahead of Arsenal at this stage and 15 ahead after 34 games, 82 points, then they hit the beach. They could have got 90+ points if they had to but they didn't.

youre entitled to your opinion of course but this season has been an absolute shocker. say what you like about klopp but he never served up results like this and certainly not after winning the league. this seasons nosedive has to be on slot because he wanted a certain profile of player that was going to move the team away from the style of play that won them the league. dont really see how that can be argued with. if it aint broke dont fix it springs to mind. it wasnt broken but for some reason slot wanted to fix it and probably because of some ego trip that told him he could win the league this season his way

Liverpool's last title defence in 2020/2021 was quite poor too. They lost six games consecutively at Anfield and were in 8th spot in March before they went on a late season run and finished third.

i was ready to post the same sofa. Slot isnt going anywhere. Liverpool underwent a major overhaul in the summer, they are in transition. Takes time. Arsenal havnt won the league for 21 years. Thats more of a crisis than Liverpool are in at the moment.

The season before was was very different. The main difference being that Man City were still an excellent side then, far better than they were last season and better than they are now.

We have Fulham at home on New Years Day so a very nice way to bring in 2026.
