They should have been promoted last season from what I saw tonight don’t even consider cashing out or laying them.

Coventry are a class apart from the rest of the division, 47 goals in 17 games is incredible. Next highest scorers are Ipswich and Hull with 28.
They play Charlton on Saturday who have just shipped 8 goals in 2 games. IF this was the Prem then Paddy's would have paid out on them already ! |

Incredible run of results.

Barring Coventry’s run away lead it’s so close between the rest of them. Only ten points separate fourth from twentieth.

Which should be a big advantage for the sky blues as is so often in the championship, they can all seemingly beat each other. Really hope they make it back to the prem. It's been too long.

By:
I also hope so they deserve a bit of luck after undeservedly losing on penalties in the 2024 fa cup semi final against united and were the best team in the plays off last season.

boro did well to get back in to it could have got ugly,Conway miss right in front of us,felt for the lad,2 good saves from their keeper, but our back 5 is normally back 5 than a back 3 but WB,s pushed well forward last night and it worked attacking wise, leaving a put together back 3 with Browne as one of 3 CB,s to do the work of 4 and got exposed on counter by very good fast Frontline of cov, attacking WB,s is apparently new coaches style so wether he had an input in to pushing WB,s forward I dont no,but going forward the back 3 are going to have to up their game if it becomes the norm

Middlesbrough were good last night .

Boro were missing quite a few defenders (Fry, Lenihan, Edmundson, Bengura and part of Target) it was quite a good time to play them. Sammy Silvera was playing as a left back and he is really an attacking midfielder.
I thought Coventry took their chances well and were a bit stronger physically. They also have strength in depth. I would be very surprised if they don't finish top. |
