Agreed. Swap keepers and United would have won easily. Lammens was soft for the goal.

Without dissing the blues, it's mad that he's stayed there so long. Spent his prime years at lower half team when he could have been competing for cups and titles, and no doubt with a nice signing on bonus or two. Never quite sure if that's commendable loyalty or lack of ambition.

He might prefer less pressure with a smaller club. Onana is doing brilliant since he left United.

Jarrod Bowen's another one. Class player, should be at a team competing near the top. But he's stayed far too long at a club going nowhere and is now probably too old for a big move.

Pickford is a good goalie, but he'd be called out
for not dealing with crosses at higher level.

He was very suspect to pressure and getting over excited
but Everton seem to have taught him to deal with it
and now when he comes to sjp you can see he's dealing
with the banter, and hatred, so much better and actually
looking for it and enjoying it, where it used to get to him.

Great to see loyalty in the game, and we'll done to pickford
for repaying it.

Cups yes, titles in another country yes but not the PL. He has improved with his feet over the years but only 4 managers have challenged for the PL title since he left Sunderland and doubt he was on their radar at any stage.

Newcastle next.  Wonder if he’ll perform his Sunderland antics again.

These Borediola wannabes wouldn't have given Southall or Shilton a game because they can't operate as a sweeper.
