About 10 years ago they had a coupon called "beat the clock".
Picking the games with the highest goal expectation had a similar 20% profit margin.

I used to travel to Manchester,placed bets in about 10 shops in the suburbs before
catching the tram to the center and another 6 shops.

Maybe £5k in turnover for the day.

Knew it wouldn't last long because a number of shop managers told me that I was the only

opposite direction.

I was late joining the party--left it alone till Flemestar provided advance notice of the games but had informed other people about the promotion.
I only used the shop 4 miles away to always back both teams.Didn't think it was worth the bother of any further travel to place more bets.
That was until last week when I was shopping in a city center and came across a Betfred shop.
To save a few miles I planned to place bets there and collect at usual shop but was refused.

For the first time the odds are smaller than they would normally be.

Traveling back from a holiday and stopped at different Betfred to collect from weekend bet.

Noticed the poor odds and was thinking whether or not to place any new bets.

You could notice that something must of popped up on the cashier's monitor and he called the manager to have a look.

The manager started complaining that they were paying out to much on these bets and that the area manager had decided not to take any more.
For a minute it looked like he was going to have a breakdown which was worrying because he was not a young man and had a ruddy complexion.

Being knocked back without even attempting to place a bet is a new one for me.

The Man City was a good one 10/11 lay at 2.02 but that did change to 5/6 close to the kick off

Tonight’s game Liverpool 11/10 lay 2.48 and PSG 13/10 lay at 2.72 are not worth doing

Fred is more likely than most bookies to bet to his opinion and in this case
it worked for him because the Real Madrid price was really low and they went on to win 3--0.

I think the reduction in win prices on Tuesdays Liverpool V PSG game is what we are going to see from this offer going forward.

By cutting Liverpool to 11/10 and PSG to 13/10, Fred slightly bettered the exchange draw price by going 7/2 for that outcome.

Currently, on Sundays game, Fred bets 21/10 Everton 5/4 Liverpool and 5/2 The Draw.

In shop on Sunday I'm predicting 15/8 Everton 1/1 Liverpool and Draw still at 5/2.
