Wee doad has a very sad, doleful gaze about him.  There is something melancholy about his whole demeanour.  I get the distinct impression that he may like pastel shades.

O flower of Scotland should be good tonight for the fans at match,  and players playing for country, but not sure it helps you win or lose football matches.

I detest Flower Of Scotland. It is a dirge, a lament and says nothing positive at all as far as I am concerned.  We aren’t a nation anyway, just a province within the U.K.
Jim Sillars got it right in 1970’s when he coined the term “ninety minute patriots”.  An anthem isn’t required anyway, a signature song should be adopted.
Ask The Proclaimers to write one.  Better still put it out to tender.
Please win Denmark.  Don’t embarrass us by sending this lot to the U.S.  We’d be humiliated.
