Tie of the night, Bayern have won 18 games on the trot, PSG are blowing hot and cold at the moment, but home side.  Goals galore IMO.

Ref gives free kick, it's in box so calls ref to award a pelanty
ref goes no handball.

Somehow they've got it right, but yikes.
Report maleuk01. November 4, 2025 8:36 PM GMT
If the ref gives a free kick outside the area and VAR says contact is inside the area, how can they then say no pen?
Surely he cannot re ref a free kick.

UEFFA will do anything for Real

Report spyker November 4, 2025 8:39 PM GMT
if no pen (from ref) why review - they don't review a handball in centre circle? Ref should have given the pen first of all as clearly in box
Report ----you-have-to-laugh--- November 4, 2025 8:41 PM GMT
It's reviewed because the handball was in the box.

Not according to the ref it wasn't
Report ----you-have-to-laugh--- November 4, 2025 8:58 PM GMT
Var reviewed the free kick and hand ball is in box, so not a free kick outside box.
Thats factual decision

So ref called to monitor, becomes subjective for actual
hand ball.
Report maleuk01. November 4, 2025 8:59 PM GMT
The ref said it was handball but just outside the box.

VAR say its inside the box.

Players may want to leave, but there is a way of doing it.

TAA slyly waited for his contract to run down.

Suarez fancied Barca, signed a new contract, agreed to stay a year more and went for the agreed fee.

Suarez fancied Barca, had a 40m release clause, Wenger bid 40m +1 and got stick for it (that info came from Suarez camp and you don't bid 50m if he has that clause). Pool said we stuck by you during Evra, sign a new deal with 65m release and we'll let you go, match Arsenal's wages. Then Henry said 'what are they smoking at Emirates' once it was signed.
Pool didn't offer Trent what would have kept him. Gave those wages to Salah. They looked good tonight but Real, like Villa, didn't play in a way that exposes them like United and Brentford did. Can't play out without Trent. No new FB or Bradley can rotate into midfield either. Slot wants to play with attacking wing-backs longer-term imo, hence Kerkez and Frimpong and Grav/Soz dropping into the backline.
