On the plus side, a nice big cheque on the way for doing f*** all. And he won't have to face the media.

One of the most bizarre appointments in the first place, plays pretty much complete opposite of the previous manager and you can tell by his interviews at spurs had no Intention of changing his ways. Think it's Dyche job if he wants it and would be a much better fit for the squad.

mesmerised • October 18, 2025 1:54 PM BST Nuno was basically asking to be sacked though, you couldn't give the types of interviews he was giving and keep him in the job, he was constantly having digs at Edu and the owner and was asking to be sacked, but they made a big mistake going from one extreme to another with Ange, should have gone for someone equally as pragmatic as Nuno til the end of the season as that's the style of player the current squad that Nuno assembled, were used to, someone like Sean Dyche, who'll probably still come in til May. |

Nuno played it quite brilliantly imo. Forest fans must be sick to their stomachs. Club being run by an inept imbecile.

How much will Ange get for this?
|
|
By:
Ange won't get a huge payday.
2 year contract = glorified caretaker, like Nuno at Spurs. Still decent money for 5 weeks work though. |

Nottingham Forest made formal approach with Roberto Mancini after Postecoglou got sacked.
Mancini hasn’t given any indication on his plans yet as talks have just started, as @JPercyTelegraph reported. Sean Dyche remains another candidate on #NFFC shortlist. Fab Romano. |

If things keep going as they are the toffees might be asking Dyche back.

it won't be cheap to sack Mancini!

Would anyone actually be surprised if Ange returned to his post tomorrow morning after the nutter Marinakis has slept on it?

You manage a club like Celtic twice in your career. Once on the way up and once on the way down. It's great to be back, mate.
|
|
By:
can't see him getting celtic job this time, although he done a good job because they were in bad place when he took over, i think it will be mckenna or bellamy

My sources in Melbourne say that Ange looks a broken man. We may never see him manage at a high level again.

Still, I don’t suppose he’ll be having bailiffs at his door any time soon. He had a go at big boy level and it didn’t work. Luckier than most even if a failure.

The Europa will be a memory to cherish, doubt he'll ever top it. Still think he has something to offer lower down though.
|
|
By:
He should do what Eddie Howe did. Take time off and learn how to coach the defensive side of the game.
|
|
By:
He might have to start at the bottom again and work his way up to another big job. Brisbane Roar, Yokohama Rovers, Celtic etc might be good suggestions for his next tentative role.
