Chelsea and England playmaker Cole Palmer has successfully trademarked the term ‘Cold Palmer’.

Palmer’s application, submitted to the UK government’s Intellectual Property Office in November, was approved on Friday, The Athletic can reveal.

That essentially means nobody can use Palmer’s ‘Cold’ nickname for commercial use without his permission, as it grants him the exclusive legal rights. He has also successfully trademarked his autograph.

Palmer’s successful application includes an exhaustive list of products he intends to sell using the trademarked term: soaps, bath salts, food snacks, razor blades, mobile phone covers, drones,
underwater vehicles, stationery, toys, Christmas crackers and teddy bears.

He has also successfully trademarked his autograph.

Surprised you can trademark the letter X.

As its trademarked we can't call him that without permission
nor can commentators, unless he grants them permission.

BBC/sky having to cough up if commentator or pundit mentions it.

Bit of an own goal?

Cole also wanted to trademark the phrase 'injured again' but apparently Jack Wilshere already holds it.

He must have trademarked his hairstyle too as I have never seen anyone with anything remotely similar.

What is going on with Palmer's hair?

Is he going bald at the front?

Not exclusive of course.  A wine producer in France forced him to omit wines/wine from his “product range.
Like the Jack Wilshire quip.
He’s a smashing player but clearly growing up is taking its time with him.

No more cold palmers for me then. I'll warm my hands first.
